Many of the members of our staff have been with us for decades and are known on a first-name basis by our regular patrons. We believe that our top priority is finding and hiring people with extraordinary professional skills as chefs, maitre d’s, waiters, and banquet managers. In addition to our people, Cobb’s Mill Inn has an ambiance and a romance that is unmatched anywhere in Connecticut or the New York Metropolitan region. Indoor and (seasonal) al fresco dining beside our 40-foot high waterfall, the warmth of our original 1749 structure and 4 wood-burning stone fireplaces, and our magnificent location on the Saugatuck River places Cobb’s Mill at the pinnacle of New England charm and grace. We have 15,800 square feet of space in eight separate dining rooms, including the Main (Franklin Delano Roosevelt) Dining Room, the Country Store, the Lake Room, the Tavern Room, the Connecticut Room, the Tack Room, the Old Weston Room and the Terrace Room. We are able to accommodate 30 to 200 people for any special event. We provide fine dining seven nights per week, 364 days per year (we are closed on Christmas Day), luncheon from Tuesday through Friday, and an elegant and relaxing Brunch on Sunday. Our magnificent flower and shrub gardens, and our beautiful lawns and rustic stone walls, which sweep down to the very edge of our Mill Pond, are the perfect background and setting for your wedding and wedding reception.
